We're Rolling!
Today was the day! Early this morning, the production team, a crew, and a bunch of eager extras descended on a lovely field on Sauvie Island to shoot PWCL's public service announcement, "Alone."
Shooting started early - the production team and crew was there at about 5:30a and the extras arrived around 7a. By about 9a, the 20+ were standing under the hot sun, waiting for our group shot.
It was a great group of people made up of some PWCL folks like Barbara, Ally, Courtney, and Linda:
Also fabulous PWCL volunteers like this one - Tash from PSU's Allies Against Rape Culture:
And other supporters of PWCL, like local attorney Randy Vogt:
It was crazy to experience what it takes to film something in real time; we spent about 6 hours filming what's going into 30 seconds on screen.
Care to see it for yourself??? Then join us for the premiere at Safety In Numbers on September 12th!!!!

BEAUTIFUL!
I'm so excited to see the finished product, and a little sad that Hillary and I weren't able to join you all. The office was the quietest it's been in a while during the day because everyone was out making TV magic.
Also:
1. You all look great.
2. NICE WORK standing out in the 100 degree weather for 6 hours. I hope you all took care of yourself afterwards.
Yay!! It was amazing. I was honored to be there and cannot wait for Safety in Numbers! I <3 PWCL!
Can't wait to see the final video!
